I'm in Chicago, at Lake Michigan. I'm at some island with my grandmother and it's nighttime. My mother is picking us up by boat at the dock of this island. For some reason in this dream I require a small rowboat-type boat to get onto the boat my mother is on. Unfortunately, that boat had drifted away a few meters. My mother throws me a life preserver but I choose not to go into the water because I don't want to get wet.
